Sisgeo driver went up the third step of the podium after the second race of the weekend in Monza. That was a good consolation after losing the first challenge, due to the break of the fifth gear.
Lorenzo was in pole position at the beginning of the second race, but he was immediately forced to match against some technical problems occurred to his F430 Scuderia, that almost obliged him to leave the race after the second bend of Lesmo circuit.
Bontempelli must accept soon the superiority of the two Aston Martin of the English Villois Team and he left his car to his team-mate, the Russian Vadim Kuzminykh, who concluded the race in the third position.
The next appointment for Bontempelli is fixed on October 18th, again at the National Circuit in Monza, where Lorenzo and Sisgeo will try to conquer the first place of the Gran Turismo Italian Championship, in GT3 class.
