The Workshop “Structural Monitoring: Applications & Potentialities” took place in Parma, on May 21st 2010. The Workshop was promoted by SISGEO in collaboration with the Department of Engineering & Architectural Studies of University of Parma and the local Engineering Society.
Many companies involved in the structural monitoring gave their contribution, such as SISGEO and FIELD, as well as university professors. 10 research papers were presented, which ranged over many different topics, including the monitoring of bridges and ancient structures. About 70 professionals attended the Workshop at the Sant’ Elisabetta Congress Center, had the opportunity to gain a deeper insight into particular aspects of monitoring activities.
